About

18 Stories was born from the wish to give new life to one of Albania’s most beautiful traditions: handmade embroidery. We grew up surrounded by women who knew how to turn a thread into emotion. Their hands carried quiet stories, patience, and beauty. Today, we want to keep this alive. Not as nostalgia, but as a way to reconnect with time, texture, and meaning. We believe embroidery can live everywhere: in homes, in cultural spaces, in contemporary artworks. Soft archives where tradition meets the present. At the heart of our practice is collaboration. Designers and artists create the drawings; we translate them into thread. This meeting of voices is what makes 18 Stories unique. A shared process that gives each piece a deeper soul.
